Katherine Heigl will get her own DENNY storyline in Grey's Season Opener? Plus a little Bernadette Peters gets sick...?

In the two-hour, Sept. 25 premiere, Bernadette Peters ("Snails?!"), Mariette Hartley (aka James Garner's" "wife") and Kathy Baker (Picket Fences ) will guest-star as friends who each require the hospital's care! Also, Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprises his role of Denny Duquette, though I have to imagine that is in a very separate story line. I like JDM as an actor but come on, no more, NO MORE....the guy died two season ago...Why not focus on characters moving on...or hooking up with people who are..I don't know..ALIVE!!!!

Grey's Anatomy tidbits and Katherine Heigl making nice - because why KILL her on tv?!?

When Grey's Anatomy returns, it seems Callie & Dr. Hahn will deal with some awkwardness between each other because of the KISS : Brooke Smith says there is ICE!
Plus Callie may be pregnant. I'm thinking Katherine Heigl will stick around because she has an emmy and is making $100,000 an episode! Movies are not a sure thing so I think she'd be wise to stay put and make movies in the summer until the show is finished. I can't see the show going more than maybe another 5 years tops! She'll be in her mid 30s and everything will be fine for her!

I really don't care much for CSI and who takes over for William Peterson but I did think the entire Liev Schreiber arc was cool.

I'm dying for LOST to get back which won't be until forever ...also DEXTER which will be back sooner!

Rose is no shrinking violet when it comes to getting McDumped by McDreamy.

Given the cozy, candle-burning climax of Grey's Anatomy's season finale, it's no big surprise that Lauren Stamile's run as Derek's squeeze may be nearing its end. But the typically oh-so-nice nurse won't be scrubbed out quietly.

Well it's cool for the actress to keep working but how much trouble could she possibly cause considering that McDreamy was never to into her from the get go. He thought he could be like McSteamy - Mark Sloane but apparently that didn't go over so well.
